Arvid Lindblad’s father, Stefan Lindblad, hails from a small village in Sweden’s Småland region, where his family faced financial hardships. Stefan began working at age 11 or 12, self-funding his university education through jobs like cleaning toilets. A former motocross rider, Stefan introduced Arvid to motorsport by gifting him a bike at age three, though it was short-lived due to safety concerns.

Maternal Heritage
Arvid Lindblad’s mother, Anita, is of Indian descent with Punjabi roots. Her parents, a Sikh grandmother and Hindu grandfather, were children during India’s 1947 partition, losing everything from their prosperous backgrounds in what is now Pakistan. They rebuilt as doctors, working in New Delhi before moving to the UK in the late 1960s, settling in northwest England. Anita’s grandmother practiced as a GP until age 82.
